DONG-IN ENSIS has completed applying a system that integrates control of a diesel engine and an electric motor to the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' pilot hybrid fishing vessel project. The vessel is designed to use the diesel engine when traveling to and from port and the electric motor while fishing, and DONG-IN ENSIS built the control system that switches between the two power sources according to operating conditions.

Highlights
- Stable power switching — The system is designed for stable control even when diesel and electric motor operate together, and to raise operating efficiency during power transitions.
- Expanding into energy data management — Beyond control, the company is expanding into digital transformation (DX) by collecting and analyzing energy-use patterns on site to support efficient operation.
- Dedicated data server — The company is developing "D-Hub", a dedicated server that manages field data in one place, and plans to provide a system for checking real-time energy use on web and mobile in stages.
