[Busan, October 12, 2026] DONG-IN ENSIS (CEO Baek Min-ki), a smart manufacturing solution company, announced on the 12th that it has built an ISO integrated management system that runs its quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems as one, and has applied for the smart factory supplier competency assessment of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Building on this, DONG-IN ENSIS will pursue, in turn, designation as a Smart Manufacturing Technology Specialist by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and as an AI Factory Specialist by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, supplier applications for the Data Voucher and AI Voucher programs, and Innovative Product designation.

Three ISO systems in one manual

DONG-IN ENSIS already held separate ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) certifications. It has now established an Integrated Management Manual and an Integrated Records Form Book that bring the three management systems together into one system.

Besides quality management for design, manufacturing and delivery and environmental management, the manual sets out how the company meets its statutory health and safety obligations: risk assessment, health and safety training, employee health checkups, the health and safety budget, evaluation of suppliers' health and safety capabilities, semiannual compliance checks, and response and reporting procedures for industrial and serious accidents. The form book consists of 33 quality, environmental and health and safety forms and 2 attachments, so employees can check a procedure in the manual and fill in the matching form right away to keep records.

The company explained that because it handles everything from control panel design and manufacturing to on-site installation, commissioning and after-sales service itself, it introduced the integrated system to manage the quality of products delivered to customer sites and the safety of installation sites under a single standard.

Supplier competency assessment, and a data solution in three packages

DONG-IN ENSIS, a registered smart factory supplier, has applied for the supplier competency assessment to have its technical and delivery capabilities objectively verified. The assessment evaluates the technology and project delivery capabilities of suppliers taking part in the smart factory deployment program, and suppliers rated excellent can apply for designation as a Smart Manufacturing Technology Specialist by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. DONG-IN ENSIS aims to earn an excellent rating and go on to obtain the specialist designation.

The company has also reorganized its supplier solution as an industrial equipment OT data collection, standardization, monitoring and AI integration solution. It gathers operating data from PLCs, VFDs (drives), EOCRs (electronic overcurrent relays), sensors and meters on the factory floor, cleans and standardizes it, and turns it into manufacturing data that can be used for equipment monitoring, AI anomaly detection, digital twins and MES/ERP integration. Supporting major industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, MQTT and OPC UA, it connects new equipment directly from the PLC and existing equipment through a gateway, into the same data structure.

Adoption is offered in three packages to match each manufacturer's level: Basic for companies introducing a smart factory for the first time, Standard for those that need data standardization and MES/ERP integration, and AI Advanced for those that also want AI anomaly detection, equipment condition monitoring and digital twin integration.

AI Factory Specialist, Data and AI Vouchers, and Innovative Product

DONG-IN ENSIS is preparing for designation as an AI Factory Specialist, a program run by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT). It plans to highlight its ability to apply manufacturing AI by linking equipment operating data collected at the control panel to AI anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.

It is also preparing to apply as a Data Voucher supplier with its industrial equipment OT data service, which collects, processes, standardizes and analyzes equipment operating data, and to register as an AI Voucher supplier with its AI anomaly detection and predictive maintenance solution. Once it is selected and registered as a supplier, manufacturers will be able to use government vouchers to start building equipment data and applying AI. The company is also pursuing designation as an Innovative Product by the Public Procurement Service in 2027.

"We will go beyond simply controlling equipment on the factory floor, collecting and standardizing equipment data and connecting it as manufacturing data that AI can use," said CEO Baek Min-ki. "Having first set our standards for quality and safety through the integrated management system, we will become a supplier that manufacturers can trust."
