DONG-IN ENSIS, a smart manufacturing solution company, has been selected as an "Innovation Premier 1000" company by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Innovation Premier 1000 selects small and mid-sized companies with technological innovation and growth potential and provides concentrated support for technology development, commercialization and market expansion. DONG-IN ENSIS was recognized for its long-standing operational technology (OT) capability and its strategy of transitioning to data-driven solutions.

Highlights
- Integrated solution — Control panel hardware design, field PLC control logic, and cloud monitoring and analysis are delivered as one integrated system.
- PLC-to-cloud direct connection — In-house MQTT communication code on the PLC lets it exchange data directly with the cloud. Sites can be monitored on a web dashboard without a separate on-premise SCADA.
- End-to-end delivery — PLC, edge gateway, SCADA and cloud work that used to be split among several vendors is handled by one company from start to finish, shortening delivery time and reducing cost.
- Predictive maintenance — Vibration, current and temperature data are analyzed in the cloud to detect anomalies before failures occur and raise equipment availability.
- Next steps — Building on its registration as a smart factory supplier with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the company will expand solution supply and pursue Innovative Product registration with the Public Procurement Service in 2027.
"This selection shows that DONG-IN ENSIS is transforming from a hardware-centered system integrator into a data-driven solution company," said CEO Baek Min-ki. "With integration capabilities proven in the field, we will broaden the base of smart manufacturing and expand into public procurement and global markets."
